Each personal visit consists of 5 components: Rapport, Observation, Discussion, Parent-Child Activity, and Summary.

Visits last 45-60 minutes. Each visit requires about 2 to 2 ½ hours. This includes planning, studying plan and handouts, preparing/gathering the materials, conducting the visit, travel to and from the visit, documentation of the visit, and any follow-up that may be necessary.
